Welcome to the University of Evansville's Student Life OrgSync Account, operated by the Center for Student Engagement.

As the Center for Student Engagement (CSE) oversees this transition to OrgSync, this page will serve as a resource for student organizations to begin using the system.  The CSE staff is always available to help students find organizations, leadership development & training, event registration, event planning, brainstorming ideas for fundraisers, assist with recruiting new members, and much more.  Our students are the reason we are here!  Our offices are located on the 2nd floor with in the Ridgway University Center.

Interested in joining a student organization? Click the "Organization Search" tab above and check out each organization's profile.  Want to know what's happening on campus?  Click on the "Events" tab above and review the calendar of student and university events.  Welcome to OrgSync!

A message to all Student Organizations

Beginning in the Fall 2010, Student Organizations at the University of Evansville will register their organization and members online using OrgSync.  OrgSync is designed to help student organizations manage their membership,  improve communication within the organization, and provide planning tools for student leaders.

Registration Process for 2010 -2011

To be completed by the organization’s president

All UE student organizations are required to register their groups in the Fall and Spring semesters with the Center for Student Engagement.  To complete the registration process, organizations must complete the following steps, not necessarily in the same order as some students/organizations may have already completed some of these steps.  All organizations, new and returning, will need to register following the steps below (no exception).

 1. If you have not already done so, set up a personal account by clicking on Orgsync REGISTER (link above in the bar).  Register using your UE email address then update your profile.  At the very least, enter your student ID to allow for accurate membership rosters, otherwise we will not be able to verify any of your student organizations and leadership positions in the future.

2. Complete the online registration form - copy and paste this link to your browser: LINK TBA

After the President of your club sets up his/her personal account and completes the online registration form, the Center for Student Engagement will grant administrative access to the President of your organization within 1 business day. The President in turn will be able to grant administrative access to other officers in the organization. Note: It is recommended that admin access be limited to 2 to 3 members in a group. Not all officers will need to be admins.  See your organization “settings” to create or adjust access for groups.  “Manage” your membership list to customize viewing/editing privileges to individuals.

3. The Center for Student Engagement will email your advisor (as listed on your registration form) to verify their commitment as your organization’s advisor.  If an advisor is not verified your organization’s account will be temporarily disabled until an advisor is confirmed.

 4. Build your organization profile on OrgSync.  Note: Only members with administrative access will be able to build organization profiles under “Settings”. It is imperative that you set up your organization profile as THIS WILL BECOME OUR PRIMARY MODE OF COMMUNICATION with your club.

5. Attend a mandatory organization training session presented by the Center for Student Engagement. Information regarding time and location for these sessions will be provided at a later date.

In addition to online registration, OrgSync offers student organizations an array of online options including:

  • A customizable page for your organization where you would be able to post upcoming  events and meetings, your organization mission, welcome message etc ( much like a webpage)
  • Improved communication within members through wall posts, mass text messaging and discussion boards.
  • Storage of important organization files including your constitution and bylaws, meeting minutes, sponsorship information, notes from past events, etc.
  • Better organization, through event and meeting tracking (attendance tracking), distributed news and to-do lists, and paperless forms.
  • Improved membership and retention. Inviting new members to join is as simple as a click of a button.  This is also a great tool to keep in touch with graduated members.
